Ihouseu.com caught up with one of Holland's finest production & DJ duos, Chocolate Puma, who play their first show of 2012 at Bodymove's A Night With Chocolate Puma event on Saturday February 4th.

Making their debut at London's Egg club, the duo talk about their Good Men hit, new single "Destiny" and their love of turtles..I kid you not.

1.Is this your first time playing at Egg and are you looking forward to playing the Bodymove party ?

Yes it's our first time playing for Bodymove at the Egg club and we've heard good stories about it. There seems to be quite a buzz around our debut and we are really looking forward to it!

2. Do you have any secret weapons ie tracks, edits/remixes and can you name a couple of records that will definitely be in your box

We always have some secret weapons in our box, and we often make bootlegs and edit tracks we're really into at our hotel right before the gig! And we're definitely going to test our upcoming single 'Destiny'.

3. Describe how you first got started in music. Where are you based and when did you start producing? What was your 1st track and what happened with it?

One of the first tracks we did together was The Good Men's "Give It Up" and it went straight to No. 6 in the UK National Top 10 and No. 1 in all the Dance charts around the world.

4. Since then you've released lots of tunes on different labels and can you describe your sound and what you are trying to achieve

Our sound is mostly energetic and housey but it can be soulful or even sometimes quite hardcore. We always try to get people moving to a good groove.

5. Do you have any favourite tunes you have produced and if so why? Who has championed your sound and what are your biggest achievements to date.

Most of the time our latest track is our favourite, because it's still fresh and we cannot wait to play it out. "Give It Up" is still special for us, but also tracks like "Whohaddrums" because we did so much nerding on the production, or "Always And Forever " because of the impact it had in so many different scenes across the dance music spectrum.

6. Has the digital revolution helped you take off and what do you think of music industry right now

These are very exciting times right now, and the digital revolution has totally changed the game. Instead of moaning about it we see all the possibilities. Of course we see how the record labels are struggling to keep there heads above the water, but in the end we think it will all settle down and result in a much healthier music industry.

7. what are your plans for the the rest of the year in terms of releases, remixes, gigs and radio shows ?

We are busy going through the back catalogue of our label, Pssst Music, so watch out for a compilation soon. We're also doing some final touches on our new Chocolate Puma single, and we have gigs lined up in Dubai, London, Miami, Asia and all over Europe.

8. Is there anything fun or wacky that we don' know about you ?

We like turtles..
