IhouseU caught up with rising French house star Gregori Klosman for a quick interview ahead of his debut performance at Ministry Of Sound London on Saturday 21st December.

1. You recently performed at the 30,000 person Dirty Dutch Blackout event in Amsterdam, how was that for you?

It's always new and amazing to play in front of such a big crowd. Especially when you know 100,000 viewers are watching the broadcast on BE@.TV. You need to stay focused and not think about that too much when your playing though!

2. You are well associated with Dirty Dutch having released on their label and collaborated with Chuckie, would you consider starting your own label at some point in the future?

It's something I have in my mind, but for now I need to focus on my career. Step by step is the key.

3. When you were younger did you always feel you wanted a career in music or did you discover your talent later on?

I've always been interested in deejaying and producing. But it was more a passion than a real destiny. You don't really choose this career. The career chooses you when you start to get noticed.

4. When DJing do you prepare your sets beforehand and stick to them, try to read the crowd and play accordingly or a mixture of both?

A mixture of both. I have a rough playlist of things I would like to play, but then I am a DJ and it's my goal to feel the crowd and adapt my set to the people.

5. You made some great progress over the past year as an artist but what would you like to achieve in 2012?

In 2012, I would like to release a vocal track. Something less underground and little more uplifting. I'd also love to play at Tomorrowland, Sensation White or Pacha Ibiza.

6. Is there anyone you would like to work with on a collaboration that you haven't worked with as of yet?

For sure, Fedde Le Grand & Axwell. They are both great artists and cool guys ;) Working with big talent can help you to improve yourself.

7. Where do you find inspiration from when writing tracks?

Honestly I don't know. I try to produce what I would like to hear on a dancefloor. It's a mix of musical culture, mood, etc...

8. What have you got lined up release wise for us over the next few months?

A track for Dirty Dutch called SHOCK. Then a collaboration with Bassjackers called FRUDGE. I have many upcoming tracks such as MINIBAR or GOOZ. But I'll give more info further this year.

I just made a remix of Sean Paul "She Doesn't Mind" and currently in the studio working on a remix for Kaskade.
