On The Road
Its been another huge summer for Puerto Ricos finest. Despite talk of the recessions effects on The White Isle, Juicy Ibizas season at Privilege was another huge success, with amazing guest spots including Joachim Garrauds live show, The Cube Guys representing the tribal sound, Dero showing how they do electro in Buenos Aires, Alex Gaudino and Marco V all rocking the worlds biggest club to its foundations. According to the Privilege management team, Juicy brings the most girls than any other party no mean feat on the island of beautiful people! The closing party saw Inpetto join Robbie for a memorable finale...til next year.
Aside from the magic of Ibiza, Robbie recently had a fitting birthday gig at Pacha Sharm-El-Sheik with 4000 fans rammed into the stunning venue to help him celebrate, and he played to a packed tent at New Yorks Electric Zoo festival (watch http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0U4gTDEASOM) over the Labour Day weekend. He even managed to get fellow jocks Benny Benassi, Deadmau5 and Steve Aoki jumping about on stage with him during his set which is easier said than done.
Then theres the small matter of his set at Paris Techno Parade playing on Joachims truck alongside Antoine Clamaran, Axwell and Laidback Luke to a total audience of 1 million people and his debut set in Doha, Qatar on the beach the following day, alongside Above & Beyond. More in-demand than ever, Robbies spreading his pumping blend of house, electro, tribal and tech across the globe week in, week out.
A world tour to support Robbies new album begins in North America Oct 31 in Robbie's home town of San Juan, Puerto Rico where he headlines the Coliseums 10,000-capacity Halloween event. Thereafter he travels to all major US and Canadian cities, before moving into South America and more in 2010.
