Following a strong re-launch at the tail end of 2007 Fakt Recordings has receiving an immense amount of support from a diverse cross section of DJs including the likes of Hernan Cattaneo, Sasha, Acid Jacks, Alex Gopher, AutoKratz, Etienne De Cracy Greg Churchill, Laidback Luke Aquasky, Jay Cunning (Kiss100) James Talk, Max Graham and many more! Next up comes the self-titled EP from the Black Russian himself!
The mysterious super producer Black Russian made a splash with his first ever production ‘Ringshifter’ on Fakt Recordings 12 months ago alongside rising cool house duo Catz and hasn't looked back, his first full release, the self titled ‘Black Russian EP’ included ‘Crazy’ which saw his sound picked up on by DJs as diverse as Marco V to Meat Katie, gaining radio support on Radio 1 and Kiss100 FM.
Featuring four tracks; the Russian’s very own rework of rave anthem ‘Playing With Knives’ to help kick off this year’s 20th anniversary of all things acid & house! Also featuring the heavyweight ‘Luv You Need’ (Original & Dub) and the excellent ‘Sunrise’ this EP showcases all sides of our man from the East!
With Fakt Recordings going from strength to strength, 2008 looks set to be a great year for both Black Russian and label!
