After the closure of one of London’s best known nightclub, The End, clubbers began to think this the sun was setting on what was once a golden age of British Clubbing…how wrong were they as the clubbing sanctuary re-launches as The Den & Centro and is set to reassure everyone that British clubbing is still alive and bigger & better than for 2009 with some of the world’s biggest headliners eagerly waiting to hit the decks at London’s favourite venue!
So what can you expect…?
With it’s notorious sound system, contents and even aroma remaining un-tampered with you can expect that same electrifying atmosphere that made it famous…however now prepared to be wowed even more as they bring to you a whole new mind-blowing lightening system and structural change with a new stage for live performances and a repositioned DJ Booth!
This is a min superclub! The Den & Centro consists of three levels, the Main Den, Den Lounge and Centro Bar and introduces a rare mixture of impressive 90’s extravagance and minimalism.
The Main Den with its DJ podium in the centre of two converted horse stable arches, it has become a legendary iconic dance space for an infinite number of international DJs and clubbers, the perfect main room.
The Den Lounge with raised seating area that doubles as a stage for live performers provides a perfect drinking lounge area for a more relaxed experience.
The Centro Bar has a VIP mezzanine overlooking a church like warehouse bar with a stage for band and live acts and more seating.
Situated in Central London, it’s been described as everything from clubbing heaven to a “serious contender in the vein of Matter, Fabric, Ministry, Pacha, Egg...but more like the Cross”.
In short Centro & Den has everything going for it, including London’s best sound system and it’s great layout with three rooms, a terrace and luxurious red leather loft VIP Room. Our upcoming parties have achieved a cult status we’d almost forgotten about could exist in clubland. Our new found following is as much for the design, décor and dressing up as for the beauty of the venue and creative use of all the areas.
