"Age is a limitation we put on ourselves,” the multi-tasking multi-millionaire 46-year-old Tweeted, “I read this today and thought it was a great quote.”
Quite where Oakey spotted the quote remains unclear though a Google search of online sources reveals just a handful of links, all of which lead back to ‘Chocolate Peppermint Luna Bars’, an organic confectionary marketed as ‘the Whole Nutrition Bar For Women’.
“LUNA was created in 1999 in response to requests from female fans of CLIF bar,” the chocolate bar’s accompanying marketing material explains, “they wanted a bar with fewer calories and women-specific ingredients.”
An even more bizarre link between candy and long lasting superstar success was highlighted by Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood this week, who admitted that he became so hooked on crack cocaine in the 80s that he occasionally ended up smoking icing sugar by mistake.
“It got to the point where I would be on my hands and knees looking for crumbs that might have fallen out of the crack pipe,” the 63 year old rocker told the News of the World.
"I even banned my children eating meringues in the house after I ended up smoking sugar, believing it to be cocaine,” he confessed.
British fashion icon Kate Moss, 36, also addressed the issue of ageing in an interview with an Italian magazine last month, revealing she’s given up her ‘many vices’ as she starts approaching 40.
"I have decided to change my lifestyle. Too many vices. Too much alcohol,” the notoriously excessive party queen declared, “It's about time I got myself in order because I'm no longer a little girl. So it's early to bed and early to rise."
