The Netherlands born Adapt Recordings - a label born out of the need for a platform to release an eclectic array of house music – delivers the goods yet again in its third release ‘Slumdogs’.
Label head, DJ and producer Jørgensengoes head-to-head with Danish Alex B in this pumping tech house number, inspired by the award winning ‘Slumdog Millionaire’. Alex (aka Alexander Brown) brings a dark and techy sound to Slumdogs under his alter ego name.
Adapt searched for the best production teams for the remix package and first up is the electronic / funk sounds of Gabriel & Castellon who are no strangers to Adapt having produced label’s second release ‘Fusion’.
Remix number two is a collaboration between Dublin’s (Fran) Cosgrave & Ethan Project, known best for their Audio Damage label and parties. In a gritty re-rub of the track is the final remix from Marten Fisher & James Nidecker, rounding off the release as a strong contender across European dance floors, especially at Amsterdam Dance Event this year.
Since Adapt Recording’s launch earlier this year, the label has been lauded and applauded by artists from Hernan Cattaneo to Chris Lake and Marco V to Syke’n’Sugarstarr, and with support already on ‘Slumdogs’ from the likes of Axwell and Chuckie, this release is yet again heading for the DJ sets of the crème of the crop.
As with all Adapt Recordings releases the question is – can you adapt??
