Kitsuné’s directeur Gildas Loaëc releases Kitsuné Club Night Mix volume 2, out on digital 12th December ’11.

This new vigorous dj mix follows up Kitsuné Club Night Mix #1 which introduced us to some rather tasty summer nuggets such as Peter & The Magician ‘Twist’, Shindu ‘Happy House’, the Moonlight Matters remix of Is Tropical ‘The Greeks’, Poolside ‘Do You Believe’, the Azari & III remix of Creep ‘Days’… As you’ll know the ears and soul of the famed Parisian company is a versatile, rockin’ dj – as his Japanese fan club almost as big as mount Fuji will attest. This end-of-year party selection has been tailored to make you jump and scream to the sound of his latest discoveries and personal favs. A real fest of a mix to shake the room and get tipsy over, top notch Champagne optional.

Indeed just as everyone thought the label had taken an indie turn on the back of Two Door Cinema Club’s stratospheric take off, it launched with a small bang and much confidence the Kitsuné Club Night concept early 2011 and rapidly started to hold one-off Kitsuné Club Night events everywhere, sending fleets of Kitsuné acts & djs around the world in order to entertain keen, dedicated crowds to the brand’s fresh, young spirit. Most weekends there is now one or several Kitsuné Club Nights across the globe beating the drum of the ever so stylish French fox.

Always well stocked, Loaëc’s obsessed with trailing exciting new talents in their early infancy. For the mix he’s gathered his latest music crushes as well as some Kitsuné exclusives; check the star cast…

A handful of remixes (notably for Yelle - included here - and a Pendulum remix competition he won) have turned 17 year old Nantes producer MADEON into France’s new kid on the block. His powerful take on the Gallic disco-house sound has certainly got enough bite to revive the ol’ touch Française. Watch out for his debut EP out later this year.

PUNKS JUMP UP are no newcomers to Kitsuné, their single ‘Blockhead’ hit it big with the best djs on the circuit this year and they’re soon coming back for more with ‘Get Down’. On the back of remixing Gossip, Lykke Li, Tiga, Crystal Castles, Ladytron, Kele, Yelle, Miike Snow, Robyn, Peter Bjorn & John… the London-based duo has matured a funky percussive style that brings a proper carnival to your dancefloor.

THE MAGICIAN is Stephen Fasano who jumped off (the) Aeroplane last year. In no time the Bruxelles dj has established himself as one of nu-disco’s most reliable forces. His last single ‘I Don’t Know What To Do’ (which features Junior Senior’s Jeppe on vocals) is a smash everywhere. Here Gildas has picked up the as yet unreleased Erkka remix.

THE RAPTURE are back on the dancefloor with the piano-led ‘How Deep Is Your Love?’, a true hands-in-the-air anthem soberly remixed by Mr A-Trak.

After releasing their 2nd album on Kitsuné, HOUSSE DE RACKET are on fire and ready to take on the world. Here, their new single, the sublime ‘Chateau’ gets energetically remixed by Punks Jump Up, another (as yet unreleased) exclusive.

What can we tell you about YELLE that hasn’t already been said? We like her and her gang… lovely people… Bretons of course!

Formed in 2008 in Lodz, Poland, electronic pop trio KAMP! write great melodic songs inspired by the best record collection : 70's krautrock, 80's synth-pop/new-wave and 90's French house… ‘Cairo’ is their new single brilliantly remixed by our buddies Jerry Bouthier & Andrea Gorgerino aka JBAG.

When JUPITER explained to Gildas they wanted to do a single sampling French Caraibean band Kassav, the ever curious and up-for-it A&R didn’t think twice. Here it is, Thomas Bangalter’s dad would be proud: pumping disco with a tropical slash of lime.

We at Kitsuné have been chasing OLIVER for quite a few months in the aim of doing an EP together. The Los Angeles duo’s hard to pin down but that makes them even more so desirable. Vaughn Oliver (Vancouver’s dj U-Tern) and Oliver Goldstein (aka studio wizard Oligee) make a stunning association for delivering bold tunes for big rooms, melodic and funky, ouch.

Yet more Bretons on Kitsuné (lol). The Manchester connection’s in full effect with JUVENILES a young band inspired by the Northern industrial city’s seminal post-punk scene. Their single ‘We Are Young’, a bit of an anthem, is remixed here by Parisian hopeful  Yan Wagner.

BUFI aka Mateo Gonzales comes from the Mexican underground. At 24, it looks like he’s got what it takes to conquer the world with his own take on French-flavoured electro-disco.
Kitsuné’s recently released some new versions of ‘Record Collection’ by MARK RONSON & THE BUSINESS INTL… and hey presto, the Plastic Plates remix has become a bit of a slo-mo disco anthem, we like it funky in Paris (and in the rest of the world)!

Watch out for Kitsuné’s next big band, 5 young London lads who go by the name of CITIZENS! After winning the Two Door Cinema Club remix competition that groovy Australian man Cassian delivers yet another winning rendition of their forthcoming debut single ‘True Romance’. Classy stuff…

1)  Madeon ‘Shuriken’
