Axwell returns with his first new original solo track since last summer, with the incredible ‘Heart is King’. The track kicks off what is set to be another mammoth year for the Swedish superstar.
What Axwell achieved in 2010 could only be dreamed of for most DJ/Producers. His remix of Temper Trap’s ‘Sweet Disposition’ with Dirty South was nominated for a Grammy, while he achieved two top 10 hits with Swedish House Mafia’s ‘One’ and ‘Miami to Ibiza’. His club night at Pacha Ibiza with Swedish House Mafia became legendary, attracting superstar guests including Kylie and Tinie Tempah.
This year Axwell plans to move his game on once again. The Swedish House Mafia return, and the Axwell solo story continues.
‘Heart is King’ is the type of Stadium House track that Axwell has become synonymous with: pulsating electro bass lines give way to the ultimate hands in the air breakdown with devastating effect. It goes without saying that this will be one of the Summer Big Ones.
