Founded in Brazil in October 2008. Club 66 is a label that has been making waves over the past 18 months. It is now re-launching with a new release coming out of Dublin, Ireland. David De Valera has been a regular fixture on the Dublin scene for the past 8 years as a Dj and now with his Debut EP already making some noise with Dubfire, Paco Osuna, Guy J, Alan Fitzpatrick, Jim Rivers, Paulo Mojo and more. This man is ready to unleash his collection of new music on to the international circuit in 2010.

'Say that' is a piece of well programmed techno that starts with tight high end and a growling vocal that filters from the bottom. It builds into with snarling snares and drops you in - daring you to turn away from the bass line that’s squeezed in between the twirling drums and smashing percussion. The vocal is the main feature which is cleverly sliced and diced until the main break. It then builds and builds and the rest you will have to wait to hear for yourself. The dub mix is a tamer affair with some of the original elements. This is ESSENTIAL!

The remixers have done a fine job with 3 amazing comparative's coming from LOKO, Def Disko and Brian Taaffe. LOKO’S  remix is proving a treat with BART SKILS, CARLO LIO, TIM GREEN and more… He well and truly puts his stamp of quality with a slab of chunky house music. He does exactly what we are used to hearing from him as he incorporates the vocal with great effect and adds layers of percussion that builds into a rip roaring flavour of his native Argentina.

Brian Taaffe puts his twist in the pot and serves up a slice of techno that reminds you of an old Joey Beltram track but still keeps a new fresh analogue sound that you would expect from him. From the bouncing bassline to the smashing analogue snares this is one for the harder floors.

DEF DISKO’S more house orientated affair is getting support from Timo Mass, Laidback Luke, Peter Gelderblom and more…
