Groovuscule’s first album “Theatre” is finally released on Mesmobeat, the UK label owned by legendary electronic act Eat Static. The album originated straight from a Demo CD which was given to label owner, Merv Pepler (aka Eat Static) in 2008.
Groovuscule’s composing, editing, and production quality is second to none, with the whole album focusing on the club and festival dancefloors, but remaining a punchy, intricate, and interesting album to listen to. 'Theatre' takes elements of Electronica / House and Techno, and crunches them up into the Groovuscule sound.
Groovuscule's musical career started VERY young, since he had classical piano lessons and a solfége class at the tender age of 4 !! His first composition was an exercise score for piano when 9 years old.
As a teenager he also started to play guitar, and a few years later left home and worked at a scuba diving service in the tropics. Back in the city in 2001 he finally got his own laptop and started to make music digitally whilst also starting to DJ as well. Early 2006 and the artist name "Groovuscule" was born with the aim of making more DJ familiar music. In the Summer of 2008, Groovuscule is offered a chance to join Mesmobeat(UK) by the label founder and an owner Merv Pepler a.k.a. Eat Static by Demo CD, having been a fan of their music and inspired very much by Eat Static this was an absolute rocketof an offer which was snapped up.
In 2010, Groovuscule moved to Hamburg, and worked non stop to finish his first album “Theatre” for Mesmobeat, and his first single “Simple Hydrogen EP” for Hemi Sapiens Records. Groovuscule’s sound grows bigger every day, and can be heard in his live set (consisting of a multi channel console with a real time performance) across the world now !
