Filterwolf, a.k.a. Adnan Duric, was born in Bosnia, but grew up in Germany, where he was introduced to a wide variety of music at an early age – from rock to hip-hop, to world music to synth pop. He first came into contact with electronic music during the minimal craze in Cologne, when Kompact and Traum were setting the scene with their trademark sound.

Filterwolf soon decided to take to the turntables and found himself playing at the various techno clubs in Cologne. Adding his own electronic music to his sets, he quickly developed into a versatile artist with a sound of his own. In 2006 he moved to Munich, where he worked as an editor for one of Germany's biggest TV stations, and started to produce music and soundtracks for acclaimed animation works and short movies.

Filterwolf has developed his own sound, far away from the clichés of techno, with a very wide diversity of tonal sensibility and intensity. Mesmerising electronic dance music in which solid techno, house and electro foundations revolve around their original state; deep tech bass meets modified Burial-esque vocal fragments; synths playing unbelievable melodies that explode like they only do  in the productions of masters Carl Craig and Mathew Jonson. Kraftwerk-like futuristic atmospheres clash with the dancefloor attitude, whilst the sexy percussions carry the rhythm. He adds a new perspective to techno, with plenty of space for numerous other musical elements.

His first release “South Disco“ was on dubKULT's London-based label Living Records, with remixes by Hrdvsion and Tigerskin, which received strong support from Coldcut, Zombie Nation, John Acquaviva and Dirt Crew. He then signed to Process Recordings, who released his four-track Futura EP in October 2009, which was supported by a wide range of people, including Huw Stephens' evening show on BBC Radio 1.

Filterwolf
continues his sensory assault into 2010 with an abundance of productions, live sets and DJ sets and a stunning and visionary debut album “Music From Tomorrow” on Process Recordings. Like a musical calling card, it combines all of the elements and features that can only be learned through a life dedicated to music, where the space between techno, house and electro music is blurred to the point of irrelevance. Sublime music for both home listening as well as for club-goers.

The introductory single for the album will be “Nocturne”, which has a diverse set of remixes by Bodycode, King Roc, dubKULT, Olibusta and Corrugated Tunnel.
