On the verge of the new year, Holland’s most popular DJ, Chuckie, can add a new chapter to his ever growing success story. This “professor in mixology” is the proud owner of a British top 10 chart hit as of the 14th of December 2009. His hit single “Let The Bass Kick In Miami Girl” entered the British charts as the highest new entry at an impressive # 9 position and finds itself alongside singles of top artists such as Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Black Eyed Peas, Timbaland and Alicia Keys.
After high chart positions in countries such as Italy, Germany, France, Portugal, Australia, Belgium and home base Holland, Chuckie finally made it to the top regions in the global authority music wise: England. Chuckie: “This is so huge for me, a fantastic closing of a very impressive year. In 2009 I saw my international career develop enormously and this Top 10 entry in the British Singles Charts will definitely bring it to an even higher level. I’m starting off the new decade feeling awesome, with huge plans just waiting to be executed!”
The # 9 entry came as a double victory for Chuckie’s label Dirty Dutch Music. A&R director Niels Pijpers already achieved a # 6 chart position in the British Single Charts in the past with his project Lock N Load (“Blow Ya Mind”), which means he now made it into the British Top 10 as both an artist as well as a label.
