On Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th September 2011, Tamworth Castle Pleasure Grounds will welcome a wealth of pop talent for the new Ultrasound Music Festival.
In 2009 & 2010, the Castle Grounds played host to some of the biggest names in pop. Stars such as JLS, Westlife, Olly Murs, Scouting For Girls, Taio Cruz, Chipmunk, The Wanted, Sugababes, Peter Andre, The Saturdays and many more delighted the crowds with spectacular live performances.
Now, in 2011, the Ultrasound Music Festival will once again welcome many of today’s biggest pop stars to Tamworth and provide 44,000 fans with an action packed weekend of great live music and family entertainment.
The Ultrasound Music Festival is delighted to announce that our media partner for the 2011 event is Global Radio’s Heart brand. The partnership will see Heart 100.7 promoting and covering the festival and its performers, with exclusive festival line-up announcements, on-air ticket give-aways, promotions and interviews.
Adam Bridge, Director of the Ultrasound Music Festival, says:
“This relationship with Heart is fantastic for the festival which will combine the UK’s biggest chart acts, including 2011 Brit winners, with the UK’s biggest commercial radio brand.”
“Last year the event received extraordinary coverage in the UK media including The Sun, The Daily Mirror, The Star, Top Of The Pops Magazine and Heat to name a few. The event also featured heavily in an episode of “Peter Andre – The Next Chapter” on ITV 2, which all added to the buzz around what was a fantastic event. This year, with two days dedicated to the biggest chart acts and working alongside the brilliant team at Global Radio, this event will be truly special.”
Tickets are on general sale through the Ticket Factory and Ticketmaster as well as the Ultrasound website.
Heart will be announcing the line-up over the next few weeks. Visit http://www.theultrasoundfestival.com for all the latest festival news and updates, and keep up to date via the Facebook and Twitter pages: http://www.facebook.com/UltrasoundFestival and http://twitter.com/UltrasoundFest.
