Sander van Doorn, one of todays most talented, diverse and in-demand DJs and Producers steps up to mix a compilation for one of club cultures most revered club nights - The Gallery 15 Years.
A beacon for UK club culture, The Gallery is Britains premier house and trance night. In 2010 it celebrates its 15th birthday that's 15 years of amazing parties, spirited hedonism, and more than 7 million collective hangovers.
Sander delivers a unique and special bespoke mix for Disc One - a thank you to a club night that gave him his first gig in the UK back in March 2005, which eventually lead to his very own Gallery residency. "When I got booked for the first time I did a little research on whod played The Gallery in the past and then quickly found out that pretty much every single big name DJ played there before me. That also made me decide to keep my style of music as diverse as possible. I still remember starting the set with Audio Bullys Bang Bang and finishing it with DK8s Murder Was The Bass. After the first few shows The Gallery decided to take me on board as one of their residents. I was over the moon to hear this and thats still one of my highlights to date", Sander explained.
Sanders diversity is mirrored in his almighty mix with prime cuts from artists including tracks by Moby, Nathan Fake, Vitalic and Simon Patterson, as well as his very own special productions and remixes.
For Sander, The Gallery played a crucial part in helping to launch his career in the UK and so when it came to finding a home for Sanders very own night 'Dusk Till Doorn', The Gallery was an obvious choice. That combined with being given the honour of headlining such a poignant mix has created one of the most successful relationships in clubbing history. "Im planning on doing a lot more Dusk Till Doorn shows and working closely together with The Gallery to push both brands as far as possible. I have a lot to thank them for and their continued support means such a lot. Being asked to headline such a mix is the best present ever, it feels like my birthday!", Sander commented.
Tall Paul and Gavyn Mytchel complete this 3-disc compilation, with a selection of anthems from their Gallery experiences of the last decade and a half. To coincide with the release of this three-disc compilation will be a series of events at Ministry of Sound (now its London home) and a UK and international club tour.
