Pete Tong’s return to Pacha with ‘Pure Pacha all gone Pete Tong’ is the biggest story of Ibiza 2011, and he’s raised the bar yet further with the announcement that he’s bringing US megastar, Usher, to the island.
The ‘Pure Pacha all gone Ushuaia’ pool party will take place on Thursday 7th July at Ibiza’s premier hotel, Ushuaia. Usher will be joined on the bill by Pete, a very special superstar DJ, Idris Elba presents 7 Wallace, David Morales and Doorly. Idris Elba brings his house music project "7 Wallace" to Ibiza for the very first time. Idris, widely known for his roles in Hollywood movies and TV shows, has been a DJ since age 14 and is looking forward to his Ibizan debut.
Then on Friday 8th July, Usher will be a special guest at ‘Pure Pacha all gone Usher’ alongside Pete, Trentemoller, and Sarah Main.
Pete Tong said: “’Pure Pacha all gone’ is about combining star talent with the finest DJs in the world – and we’ll be doing that twice in two days. It’s an honour to welcome Usher to Ibiza for not one, but two very special events.”
Fresh from closing Glastonbury’s dance stage, celebrating 20 years on Radio 1 and announcing his new Las Vegas residency, Pete Tong has revealed the first run of names to hit his new Friday night event, featuring some of the world’s biggest musical talent and hottest DJs.
