**Kidology at The Cross - 3rd August**
On Friday 3rd August, Kidology Records kick starts the summer month with a fun filled Friday night party at The Cross.
Since its launch in April this year, Kidology has been putting the fun back into Fridays with top line-ups including Alex Gaudino and Yousef, The Kidettes – a group of mischievous dancers, and a crowd who just love their house music! There are only six more Kidology parties left until quite sadly, The Cross is pulled to the ground in the New Year. Do not miss any of these opportunities to party at a venue that is sure to go down in clubbing history.
The line up for this party includes none other than Kidology Records very own Mark Wilkinson, a man known for his top production under many guises including DAB Hands, Kidstuff, and Problem Kids – a production duo with Rocky of Xpress2, who was delighted to be asked by his old buddy to come play at Kidology’s August party.
Adding to the housey mixture are The FNUK Associates, a duo also known as Millksa and DJ Dicasa. They’ve been around since house music was an embryo, well nearly... FNUK gained their reputation by putting on their own parties of the same name at Pacha and Turnmills in London. Expect some serious technical wizardry as they blow the crowd away with their fine tuned scratching and chopping.
Kidology is heavily about the music, but the atmosphere created by its choice of DJs and the entertainment from the harajuku-chic styled Kidettes, make this party a clear stand out from the rest. The gorgeously talented Janette Slack (who, currently in the eyes of the press can do no wrong) will spin her trademark sound of rolling breaks and techy electro house. Complementing Janette perfectly is Parallel Sound – big favourites of John Digweed, who’ll be providing their unique sound of house, electro and breaks. And last but by no means least, is Mr Seb Zito, a man with a huge personality and a true giftness in the booth, which has gained him three residencies across nights in London.
And don’t forget for those of you who are still puffing away in our newly smoke free country that The Cross has a beautiful garden complete with plantation, plenty of seating, and luscious lighting. At this party you don’t have to sacrifice the party ‘cos you need a fag. Just light up in the garden where the music and atmosphere can’t help but overflow to.
On the first Friday of every month when you attend Kidology at The Cross, you know what you’re getting – pure hedonistic, housetastic fun. Just don’t miss it!
