Queen give 'I want it now' thumbs up!

Featuring the notorious hook “I want it all/I want it now” Gina Star transforms a well loved classic in to a slamming dancefloor driven number, fresh for 2010.

Gina Star’s highly anticipated track, ‘I Want It Now’, due out this week on Toolroom Records, has officially been given the thumbs up by legendary Brit rockers, Queen and EMI. The sample was cleared and the band themselves confirmed they would promote the track on the official Queen website in the coming weeks.

The track has already hit #3 in the Cool Cuts, and looks set to go higher yet, after tearing it up in Ibiza and being hammered in by such names as David Guetta (requested for his next ‘F*ck Me I’m Famous’ compilation’), Swedish House Mafia, Seamus Haji, Flash Brothers, DONS and Radio 1’s Vernon Kay.

Gina Star recently moved from Los Angeles, where she was hailed by the LA Times and E! Entertainment as one of the most talented and sought after DJ’s in the city. Now in the UK to further her production career, her first release on Toolroom Records, ‘This Is Hollywood’ ft Roland Clark, flew to #1 on the Beatport Progressive Chart, making her the first female producer to break in to the top 10. Gina also mixed Toolroom’s top selling ‘Miami’ compilation and is currently a resident DJ for Toolroom Knights. Label boss, Mark Knight comments, “Gina Star is a name we’re putting our money on here at Toolroom. It’s a name you’ll be hearing a lot more of in 2010!’
