Every Friday from the 7th October, Get Loaded will host lineups featuring up-front live electronic music from bands, breakthrough artists and DJs alongside a true pioneer of all forms of electronic music, XFM’s Eddy Temple Morris!
Formerly known as The Fridge, the venue has been reinvented as Electric Brixton and promises to become London’s favorite new venue. After a makeover of more than £1,000,000 it will now hold 1500 people for a live show rising to 1700 for a club show... expect an electric atmosphere!
Get Loaded will host album launches and label showcases, as well as throwing up a few surprises, to make Get Loaded the first place you think of on a Friday night. Expect to find the next big thing as this showcase of the hottest new talent, alongside special one off performances that will ensure an epic night week after week.
Each event will welcome a blend of bands and DJs rounded off by our weekly resident Eddy Temple Morris. Room 2 will be hosted by some of London’s freshest independent promoters on rotation to offer the complete Friday night out!
Things kick off on Friday 7th October. Headlining the night will be Foamo, whose tracks have been supported by everyone from Annie Mac to DJ Zinc. He has toured America and Australia, played to festival-goers across the globe and even earned an exclusive residency at Space in Ibiza this summer. Joining Foamo is Daniel Stephens, aka the Hip Hop genius Dan Le Sac, one half of Dan Le Sac Vs Scroobius Pip, and one of the most hyped bands in the UK at the moment - Shake Aletti.
Drawing inspiration from Disco, Electro and Leftfield Pop, the band has spent the summer playing festivals which included a prime time slot on the main stage at Sonar Festival with BBC introducing. Rounding things off every week will be our resident DJ, XFM’s Eddy Temple-Morris.
Formerly The Fridge, this ex-cinema combines outstanding sound and visuals with a luxurious interior that marks a defining new era in the Capital’s clubbing.
