Underground alternative icon Tommie Sunshine responded cynically to the shooting of Al Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden this week, Tweeting ‘Kill the bad guy = win the election. Life in 2011 has become an Hollywood movie.”
“Obama watched it happen live, they dumped his body in the ocean & now we just have to "believe" its true,” the New York electro-rock DJ added.
“I'm disgusted.”
Primal Scream producer Jagz Kooner was similarly unimpressed Tweeting ‘Congrats to US army on finally capturing a handicapped bloke on a dialysis machine- Hiding in a fuck off mansion, next to an army base.”
Anti corporate campaigner Michael Moore similarly noted the incongruity of Osama’s execution site, Tweeting ‘As many of us have said forever, this multi-millionaire bin Laden was never in a friggin' cave’. He also reposted a Twitter post from October, in which he presciently predicted this week’s murky circumstances.
"Here's what I know: Osama bin Laden is a multi-millionaire – and if there's one thing I've learned about the rich... ..is that they don't live in caves for 9 years,” he noted, “Bin Laden is either dead or hiding out in a place where his money protects him."– 10/7/10.”
Both Michael Moore and Tommie Sunshine’s questioning of the truth of the official version of Bin Laden’s death, followed numerous earlier claims by a wide range of political experts such as former Reagan presidential advisor Professor Angelo M. Codevilla.
Writing in US Spectator magazine in 2009, the International Relations expert put together detailed analysis of the mysteries surrounding America’s failure to capture him following 911 suggesting ‘all the evidence suggests Elvis Presley is more alive today than Osama bin Laden.’
“Negative evidence alone compels the conclusion that Osama is long since dead. Since October 2001, when Al Jazeera's Tayseer Alouni interviewed him, no reputable person reports having seen him—not even after multiple-blind journeys through intermediaries,” the Professor added.
“The audio and video tapes alleged to be Osama's never convinced impartial observers. The guy just does not look like Osama. Some videos show him with a Semitic aquiline nose, while others show him with a shorter, broader one,” he noted.
