Over the past year and half, Koolwaters has been busy pushing its sound around the UK and on a global level, with events in Asia, South America, Central America, US, Canada, Europe, Africa and Russia. We currently run a weekly Global Radio show, broadcast all over Russia and in parts of Asia, sponsored by Malborough. The show is now reaching audiences of over 1 million people, firmly establishing Koolwaters as one of the biggest exports of dance music culture from the UK. A brand now seen on the world stage as one of the driving forces of this industry, comes back to Taunton, the birth place of Koolwaters to celebrate 5 years of successful promoting events and festivals.
Their events have taken us to some of the most fantastic venues around, from Ministry of Sound in Taipei- Taiwan, AgeHa in Tokyo- Japan, The Government in Toronto- Canada, Avalon in New York- USA, Pacha in Buenos Aires- Argentina and BabyFace- Beijing- China Our parties are now synonymous with quality around the world and most of the biggest dj's have now played for us or will be playing in the near future The list is endless, but some of the more recent artists to have worked for Koolwaters vary from Chemical Brothers, Sasha, Boy George, Paul Van Dyk, The Orb, Mylo, Roger Sanchez to Pete Tong. All of this has given us a reputation for quality and consistency, in an industry full of half hearted events or one time promoters. Thanks to this continued dedication, Koolwaters has been asked to host several Festivals in the last few months, in Turkey, Chile and Russia, sponsored by Heineken and with capacities of around 40 000 people each Festival. Our future plans for the upcoming months will be to carry on putting on events around the world, improve on our existing services, the release of our new compilations mixed by Boy George, Benni Bennassi and Marc Vedo. To continue to push our Radio shows worldwide and return to the South West, to bring back the quality and Top flight dj's that has been lacking in the last couple of years. We feel we have been flying the flag in the UK and abroad for the South West, so it makes sense for us to come back to our birth place.
Its going to be a proud return back to the area for Koolwaters, after such a long absence and we have invited to help us make a welcome return, none other than the biggest dj this country has ever produced, now immortalized by his own film "Its all gone Pete Tong". This will be the official launch of Pete Tong's new Compilation, coming out in November and part of Radio 1's Essential selection night. Hosting room two, we have one of the biggest trance clubs in the world, Passion with all their residents and Koolwaters residents mixing it up, for the most upfront, quality trance music on the scene.
This will be the first in a series of large events, with Paul Van Dyk, Eddie Halliwell, Ferry Corsten and Judge Jules already confirmed for the next few parties. "
