Kiss, the UK’s best dance and ‘urban’ music station announces the launch of its first Kisstory night at the IndigO2. Kicking off on Saturday 11th September, partygoers will be whipped into a frenzy by a killer line up rocking classic Kisstory anthems.
Kiss has a history steeped in underground music. From house, garage, hardcore, drum and bass, soul/R&B and hip hop, Kisstory represents the tracks that started in clubland and crossed over to become massive pop hits and timeless party classics. The ace line up for their first party reflects just that…
Hardcore producers Baby D were rooted in raves, got to number one with their breakbeat belter ‘Let Me Be Your Fantasy’ and will no doubt raise the roof on the night. Basement Jaxx’s Vula’s searing vocal skills will drive crowd pleasers including ‘Oh My Gosh’ and ‘Hush Boy’, Robbie Craig will bring Artful Dodger’s 2 step favourites to life, Urban Cookie Collective will spread nostalgic bubblegum dance vibes, plus UK garage leader DJs EZ provides DJ support, along with Justin Wilkes.
"Kisstory is about those tunes that just stand the test of time and put a big smile on your face – anthems, classics or just those tracks that make you remember where you were and what you were doing,” says Andy Roberts, Group Programme Director at Kiss. “Our listeners love Kisstory on Kiss and so with our new club nights, we hope they'll love it even more."
