One of dance music’s most prolific and respected producers, Axwell, releases his brand new single ‘Nothing But Love’ through legendary dance imprint Deconstruction on September 12th .
The track is already a massive hit in clubland, smashing into the #1 position on the Buzz Chart and reaching the Beatport Top 5 within days of it’s promo release. It is undoubtedly the sound of Summer 2010
Nothing But Love is the first single to be taken from Axwell’s hugely anticipated debut artist album, which is due out in 2011. It is the first commercial release for the producer since 2007’s “I Found U” which reached #6 in the UK charts.
“I have been holding back with the productions for a bit,” says Axwell, “and that’s because I’m finishing my debut album. I’m used to just working track-by-track, but making a whole album, and making the whole thing sound fresh, that’s been a challenge, but a really fun one.”
“My album will contain a bit of everything that I’m about – which is a bit of everything!”
Axwell has been responsible for some of clubland’s biggest hits, including “Watch The Sunrise”, “Feel The Vibe” and ”Tell Me Why” (as Supermode). In the last year he has produced seminal remixes for Temper Trap (Sweet Disposition) and TV Rock (In The Air). He also reworked Hard-FI’s “Hard to Beat” to pop/dance perfection. A collaboration that worked so well, that Richard Archer appears on Axwell’s album.
As part of Swedish House Mafia (along with Steve Angello and Sebastien Ingrosso), Axwell is also responsible for the huge hit ‘One (Your Name)’ featuring Pharell Williams, which reached #7 in the UK charts.
Axwell will perform his incredible ‘heart’ show live at London’s LED Festival on Friday 27th August.
