Ibiza Ice is the exciting new low-calorie sparkling wine cocktail, which was launched in Ibiza in the summer and here in the UK last month. It is the brainchild of serial drinks entrepreneur, Richard Horwell and is backed by cash from a well known Saudi business family.
Ibiza Ice is set to capture the elusive female sector, largely dissatisfied and weary of the same old glass of wine, and wanting to get away from high calorie cocktails. Ibiza Ice is an exciting alternative to everything else on the UK market right now.
Horwell says: “It’s a sophisticated drink with healthy, natural ingredients that’s a million miles away from the traditional sugar-rich, get-drunk-quick alcopop.”
He continues: “The appeal of Ibiza Ice stems from the wonderful range of natural and low calorie ingredients we’ve used to create it. There are two flavours to choose from; the white wine-based White Isle, infused with lychee, melon, lemon and kiwi or the rose wine-based Sunset, which has a natural hint of peach. We don’t use additives or chemicals and there’s only 57 calories per 100mls, so Ibiza Ice really is the perfect drink for women.”
Ibiza Ice will be distributed by Caledonian in Scotland, Same Day Beers in the North of England and Venus and Best Wines in the South of England and London. It will also be available to purchase through the Ibiza Ice website and at many of the UK’s coolest nightclubs, including O2’s Matter.
