DJ/Producer John 00 Fleming has been confirmed to play alongside psy trance legends Infected Mushroom and Astrix at the 'Psychedelic Academy' on 4th May.
John makes the official UK launch of his ‘Psy Trance Euphoria’ album in front of over 4,500 people in the venue best known for big name rock shows. This will be the 5th time psy promoters Antiworld have sold out the prestigious South London theatre.
The underground popularity of psy trance is growing across the world. Live acts like Infected Mushroom regularly headline huge festivals in South America and have begun to appeal to a more rock-orientated crowd playing at festivals in the USA and Europe.
Fellow DJ and producer Astrix joins the bill after he entered DJ Magazine's Top 100 at No.18 last year behind Top 10 voted act Infected Mushroom. To see two Psy acts in there is a massive indication of the size of this growing scene.
John Fleming's 'Psy-Trance Euphoria' album is the first compilation from that genre to enjoy mainstream distribution and marketing and has already shot to No2 in HMV's retail charts. The release also includes his debut artist album, produced with production cohort, Digital Blonde.
