Roughly spanning the period between 1988 and 1994, Original Rave Anthems is 3CDs packed with the biggest rave anthems from the era. This was a time when dance music and electronic music was developing from its origins and being influenced by the diversity of UK culture and music. 3CDs split into 3 loose genres that by 1994 had clearly begun to distinguish themselves and in the coming years would develop and create their own followings and their own genres of dance music.
To this day weekend after weekend the big names of the era continue to be booked for huge events and continue to play the same massive tracks to huge crowds of people, many discovering them for the first time.
These tracks are classics!…Massive underground anthems, spawned out of the huge followings and huge raves they produced, that created a scene around them so big they left the underground and gained mainstream status.
