The tracks are remixes of two club classics by Imagination, the disco supergroup who had 11 chart hits in the 1980s and are the latest installment of their 10th anniversary series.
Dimitri From Paris (winner of Mixmag Album of the Year for Sacrebleu and Grammy award nominee) takes 'Burnin’ Up' and re invents it with 2 stunning remixes. The track became an instant underground club classic in 1981, especially in Chicago and New York, where it was a favourite of Larry Levan at the legendary Paradise Garage. This version is remixed using all of the original production, but with extra elements to bring it up date.

Hans Peter Lindstrom (remixer for Franz Ferdinand, LCD Soundsystem, Juan Maclean and 2007 winner of the Spellemansprisen – the Norwegian equivalent of the Grammy), remixes 'Just An Illusion'. A top 10 chart hit in 1982, it has been a staple on radio stations and compilations ever since. Lindstrom has used only the original parts, yet the track still bears his own hallmark ‘space disco’ style.

Imagination
Imagination are Leee John, Ashley Ingram and Errol Kennedy, who formed in 1981 when Lee and Ashley were backing singers for various soul bands and who later decided to form their own band with drummer Errol. They proceeded to have many hit recordings in the 1980s, most notably Body Talk in 1981 which reached Number 4 in the charts, Just an Illusion the following year at Number 2, and Music and Lights which sailed to Number 5. It is a fact that all 11 of Imagination's singles for the R&B label Red Bus Records charted in the UK and three of their albums went on to win Gold Discs.
