The third release from the french talented house label Space Breaks [l], Lolita is a house track coming from a briliant collaboration of ex-Africanism member Gwen [a] and Bertrand Dupart [a]. Also quite reminiscent of works by people such as Kings Of Tomorrow or Mood II Swing, the track captures the essence of pure instrumental house.
The remix comes from Rocco [a], who’s earned more and more attention due to his massive releases on Freerange, and famous remixes of Dennis Ferrer and Claude Monnet.
The main mix is a stunning house tune with a fat kick, and reminds us of Pete Heller’s tracks, while Rocco’s remix is more techy and deep, but brings you the kind of groove you feel in your chest.
Lolita’s already getting a lot of attention from other labels and talented producers like Yass, Copyright, who gave full support on the release and has played both the main mix and rocco remix on high rotation, especially @ WMC. Lolita has high expectations from everybody on the house scene.
Main feedbacks:
Copyright [a] (Defected - UK): teched out dopeness! beautiful.
Martin Solveig [a] (Mixture/Universal - France): Cute Track, nice remix too, i’ll play the original in my radio show
