On October 16th Gusto Records return with another chunky slice of house, as they release Dab Hands’ groove-laden ‘DYOT (Do Your Own Thing)’, a record with crossover written all over it.
‘DYOT’ takes a deep, bubbling bassline, peppers it with guitar twangs and uplifting keys and then wraps up the package with a Steve Edwards vocal, which is reminiscent of X-Press 2’s ‘Lazy’. “It was never the intention to make something that sounds like ‘Lazy’.
