Fresh from two sell out nights at London’s Heaven, Carl Cox announces his return to Brighton for an exclusive Bank Holiday party at the Brighton Centre on Sunday 4th May.

Carl will be at the helm of what will be one of the biggest club events of the year: joined by a stellar cast, including top local talent playing across three arenas with a sound system, production and décor second to none.

Carl’s love of Brighton started back in the late 80’s, when he played the back room of the Hoe Park Tavern pub. A residency at The Zap Club followed, and most recently, Carl and good friend Norman Cook played the final night of the legendary Escape club.

Carl Cox on his return:

“I can’t wait to get back to Brighton. It’s been years since I’ve played there and after the Heaven dates I can’t wait to play for another UK audience. Plus Brighton’s one of my favourite cities, I always try to visit when I’m in the UK and I’ve got loads of mates there, some of whom are playing with me. I thought it was time Carl Cox & Friends paid a visit.”

Coxy is joined on the night by a top-notch bill of hand picked friends: chart-topping Dutch powerhouse Fedde Le Grand, loveable electro popsters Hot Chip, funky techno expert Jim Masters, world class disco house producer-DJs Freemasons, hotly tipped protégé Jon Rundell, squelchy-house don Switch, Plump DJs, Freestylers, Breakfastaz and Meat Katie. Phew!

This year, Carl has been busy globe-trotting, taking in venues across the USA, South America, Europe and the Far East, recently returning from Miami’s Winter Music Conference. Carl’s ‘Global’ radio show has just reached over 4 million listeners and is now live across 24 countries worldwide, making him one of the most important broadcasters on the planet.

Later this year, look out for a forthcoming DVD on Coxy, which is an insight into the DJ’s life, following him on his travels around the world, with interviews from friends, family and industry figures along the way. The DVD will feature a full set recorded live from this year’s WMC and promises to be an absolute must for all dance music fans. Carl will also be headlining the SW4 Festival on Clapham Common on Saturday August 23rd, and look out for Carl’s highly anticipated third artist album. Watch this space for more news.
