Canterbury-based four-piece Fortystore (http://www.myspace.com/fortystore ) blew away the judges and the packed crowd at the final of the Myspace Unsigned Bands contest on Saturday night at Beacon Court Tavern in Gillingham, Kent.

Says promoter Marcus Wallis: “We were really impressed with the depths of the songs for kids so young – I think they’re all about 17 – as well as the dynamics and the songwriting. Plus the crowd response was overwhelming.
