After licensing issues with their East End venue looked likely to have called time on this weekend’s BUNGA BUNGA party, The 2 Bears have announced that the party will now take place this Saturday (November 5th) at Corsica Studios in Elephant & Castle instead.
Taking over Room 2 of this much loved South London club, The 2 Bears (Raf Daddy and Joe Goddard) will be joined on the decks by Horse Meat Disco’s Jim Stanton and Severino, Tickets will be £10 on the door.
Over the last year or so The 2 Bears, Jim Stanton and Severino kept crossing paths in DJ booths of clubs and festivals the world over and realised that something special happens when they all get together; An axis of musical virtue at the crossing points of house, techno, garage and disco.
The only sensible thing to do was to make a party where they could all play together and so after a trial run at The Green Man festival BUNGA BUNGA finally comes to London for its inaugural romp...

With their Annie Mac endorsed long player Be Strong (out January 30th) tipped to be one of THE debuts of 2012, The 2 Bears have been blazing a trail across festival stages and DJ booths for the past 18 months.
With tracks from their first three EPs hammered in clubs and on radio by the likes of Andrew Weatherall, Erol Alkan, and Pete Tong, this summer’s Bear Hug EP cranked things up yet another notch with Chris Moyles giving the track some early morning airings and even the likes of Elton John and Paul McCartney declaring themselves fans.
