Normally we would catch up with VIVa MUSiC head-honcho and long serving Space resident Steve Lawler at either the opening or closing of Space but not tonight. Steve talks intimately with DJsounds from his casa in the hills overlooking Ibiza old town about nurturing new talent, implementing cutting edge technology like the DJM-2000 and playing in San Antonio again at Eden for Pete Tong. Steve's Ibiza debut back in the early 90s was at none other than Cafe Mambo, where he would play day after day anything up to 12 hours at a time. Good practice for those legendary marathon sets that would make his name, on the terrace at Space Miami, Twilo in New York and The End in London.
